Description

Kenneth Pauling Riley delivered a four-year run of fine, painterly comic-book stories for editor Joe Simon. Simon liked this page so well that he kept it in his private collection. Riley had been a combat illustrator during World War II. He graduated from comics to such slicks as The Saturday Evening Post and National Geographic -- and from there, into acclaim as a gallery painter specializing in Native American imagery.
