Description

Here is a 1940 golden age original art unpublished page featuring Fawcett�s 2nd tier character, Bulletman (AKA, Jim Barr). For some reason, the art panels were changed but the actual published story line reads near identical with this unpublished page. I actually like the unpublished art panels better than the published panels. The art is done on very thick illustration board (15� by 20�). Pencils and inks by Jon Smalle.

Nice rarely seen specimen from the golden age! Even if it was published like this, not many people get to see interiors of these books that tend to get slabbed or only be in the hands of the few. Bulletman images are very large!

Thank you Marcus (your avatar is hilarious BTW!). Very true, and the time period is what excited me even though Bulletman is a second tier Fawcett character and Jon Smalle is a small timer lol.
