Description

This variant cover was one of several that Image Comics used to commemorate Pride month in 2017. The book is Greg Rucka at his best, and the story of Nicky and Joe has already become one of my favorite fictional romances. Who could resist the tale of mortal adversaries -- a first Crusade Italian and a Jerusalem Moor -- who become immortal lovers? Although Leandro Fernandez did stellar work crafting the look of these characters, I was stoked to have Lark take them on. Gorgeous.
