From the Hunter of the Dark chapter, here the clossing page.
In this evocative series written by HP Lovecraft, Breccia always put his atention in finding the best way to capture that undefined horror imagined by Lovecraft. And he did it!...vague black mass panels, deformed faces and bodies, strange shapes everywhere that make up a peculiar universe with an only purpose: to depict in images what Lovecraft could imagine and make the reader part of it.
Breccia did what he wanted in one of his most experimental works, using a big amount of mixture techniques
Probably too much text in this Breccia rendition but the graphic level is really top.

Great piece creating the strange mood using abstract paint techniques. Combined with the story of Lovecraft, Breccia taps into our darkest fears to attack our emotions!

No one has captured oppressive darkness in its terrifying abstraction more vividly than Mr. Breccia, equally by what he chooses to show but also not show. Huge congrats on acquiring this AMAZING work of art!
