Bug was portrayed as 'normal' human size whenever he was bopping around with the Guardians of the Galaxy. As to 'why?' Easier to draw and write for, that way, I suppose. ;-)

Great pick up. I was looking at this piece for a bit on ebay. Almost made the move on it and was waiting until possibly later. Happy it found a good home though.

Bug is the one we could all relate to during his time with the Micronauts. Fun page with the deathblow! He got big by feeding off the corpse of Acroyear. You don't see him around anymore, do you?
