Description

This page has all I could ask for in a Captain Marvel page. Set during the classic Avengers Kree-Skrull War, Rick Jones recounts how Mar-Vell came to Earth and eventually became the hero Captain Marvel. Roy and Sal packed each panel with flashback gold -- the great green & white Kree costume (a personal fave), Super Skrull, lost love Una, Supreme Intelligence, the new red & blue costume, and finally Rick and the nega bands with Mar-vell in the Negative Zone!

Special thanks to Kirk for letting me hold onto this one for a while.

Wonderful recap - significantely, imho, from the point of view of Rick Jones. This was early in the Kree-Skrull War and presages the significant role Rick has , especially in the climax. Great imagery too!!
