Description

Look up in the sky, its a bird, no its a plane, no its Superior Male! Joe Simon's spoof of Superman appeared in his Kid Adonis. Although it was published in 1948, it actually was left over inventory from Simon and Kirby's titles from 1946 that failed due to the comic book glut that resulted from the lift of paper restrictions.

I would have thought this Superior Man would have been Kid Adonis as I've never seen either before. A classic schoolyard call out splash that's simple and effective by Joe Simon recreating some of that Superman magic. He should really first wipe out that guy shooting bullets at him.
