DescriptionI've had this for a while, and glad I finally got to post it.The Punisher battles an alien drug dealer who looks like a giant bug on the cover of Marvel Knights #6 (2000). Art is by the co-founder of Marvel Knights, the talented Joe Quesada, one of my ALL TIME favorite artists in addition to being the key editorial mastermind behind the early 21st century turnaround of Marvel. Marvel Knights was a team comic about a non-team of urban level warriors of the Marvel Universe joining forces, pretty similar to the upcoming Marvel's The Defenders series on Netflix. It was also the name of the publishing initiative that Joe Quesada started in the late 90s that led to Marvel's turnaround from the edge of ruin. The Punisher first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #129, one of the most famous comic books of the Bronze Age. In the 80s, the character really took off after being used in Frank Miller's historic first run on Daredevil. and appearing in his first hit solo mini-series and by the 90s was the star of multiple on-going solo titles. The Punisher has appeared in three solo movies and was successfully brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe earlier this year in the second season of Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix. That version of the character will be spun off next year into his own Netflix program Marvel's Punisher. Social/Sharing |

Like the perspective choice and illustration but we really stands out to me are those inks - sublime! Congrats!
