11.69" x 16.54" (A3) ink, gouache, acrylic and gesso

This was a spectacular and jaw-dropping surprise Christmas gift from my partner! Her first time gifting me art and I think she did a fantastic job, as this piece absolutely sings - from the attitude of Death to the way the skulls blend into the piece and the layers of texture Ricardo created with gesso - in person, it's an arresting piece!

She's given herself an incredibly high bar for next Christmas, that's for sure!

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a gorgeous painting of Death! I love the expression Drumond gives her. You almost feel like she's assessing you and your fate. I also love the way a pattern of skulls appear faintly in her dress. The whole painting is seductive and yet sinister.
