11.69" x 16.54" (A3) pencil and ink

It's pretty clear to see from my gallery I'm a fan of Gary's (especially his Batman: Earth One work) and I had an inkling he was a bit of a Sandman fan. Gary is great at capturing expressions and I initially wanted to feel out what he would prefer, so I gave him a list of several different characters/subjects and was really delighted when he picked the only one which included Delirium!

When I collected the commission he and his wife mentioned being fans of Sandman and Delirium especially, so I'm glad I was able to give him a request that was different but hopefully enjoyable.

Frank brings a visual contrast in fashion and personalities while maintaining his artistic style to have them both connected in this illustration.
