This is one of the very few surviving dailies from one of his 1940’s adventure storylines, in this case the 49th Mickey Mouse continuity, “Goofy and Agnes” (YM 049). The images look like they come right out of the animation! Standard for Mickey and friends, but new for that lion that had to be designed first. The age of it is magical for having survived the great war.
