Description

Thanks to Michael Finn, I now have an Alan Scott Piece that I have long admired.

Some years back Michael Had Irwin Draw Green Lantern a character he was quite familiar with.

Michael then took the pencil sketch and brought it over to Bob McLeod who was attending the same convention and asked Bob to ink it , which he did masterfully.

I was so impressed that I planned to do the same thing at the next Heroes Convention which Irwin attended, sadly at that point in time Irwin stopped attending conventions and has since gone on to his reward.

So this remained a plan unrealized, however when Michael decided to sell this and a few other JSA related commissions I was fortunate enough to obtain this unique artistic pairing.

McLeod cleans up the Hasen art really well but keeps all the relevent touches that ground the character to the Golden Age. The square jaw, tall face, and the optimistic smile that brings hope are all there!

fantastic piece- Irwin did a very nice job and Bob brought it home beautifully.
