DescriptionJeph Loeb and Tim Sale are magic when they work together, and, for me, no where is that magic more evident than in the quiet, interpersonal scenes such as this one between Selina and The Blonde on his yacht from issue three. In this scene we learn that Carmine Falcone was The Blonde's uncle and that he was supposed to attend Johnny Viti's wedding, but couldn't get a visa. Selina quips, "You didn't miss much. It was hot." A call back to Selina's line from the first issue of The Long Halloween, "It's hot, but not as hot as the night Johnny Viti got married." 11.5" x 17" Social/Sharing |
