This is just a year and a half before Don passed. And you see no deteriorization in ability at all. Same consistent quality from the beginning of his career to its end. I would have loved to see Frank Giacoia ink this. Also either Breeding or Ordway.

Wow, an original Iron Man uninked pencil sketch by Don Heck from smack dab in the middle of the booming Image era and less than a couple of years before Dazzlin' Don passed away? That's a true rarity! Also, a surprisingly dynamic pose for Heck, who was never known for dynamism.
