Description

Growing up in Ohio Peanuts was my primary reading interest as a kid. I became enamored with Calvin and Hobbes as a teenager and could relate to so much in the strip with the fantasy world of Spaceman Spiff and the magical winters. Later I would go to Chagrin Falls, 45 min from my home to visit restaurants and the Fireside Bookstore hoping one day to casually run into the elusive Watterson and casually express my appreciation, likely to his slight dismay.

Having a published Calvin piece with Hobbes has been the white whale for me in my time collecting so I am very grateful to have this piece.

Man, what must it be like to see this in person (and know that it's part of your collection!)--museum worthy piece and a perfect gag, showcasing the personalities and dynamic between Calvin and Hobbes.
