Description

A very nice (and unexpected) sketch of the Thing from Brent Anderson in 2005, drawn on a comic book backing board. It got scrunched by the post office, but I still love it.

Brent is currently involved with the Astro City comic series, but did a few covers to the Thing solo series back in the 1980s.

Great piece! Anderson's style, especially pencil-only, really lends itself to bringing out the Thing's texture, and that cigar enhances the picture as well. Terrific!
