Description

This is another character from the second (and last) BRASS limited series. I'm not sure she was even given a name, but she looked serpent-like so I called her Serpentyne. Here is how she was drawn by Richard Bennett on the cover of BRASS #6, Vol. 2. This is what I gave the artists to use as reference. As you can see, she's a very detailed character. Just like with Brass, some artists didn't want to tackle her, but the ones that did are featured here.

Everybody who does not know the BRASS books should pick some up (be aware that they are somewhat hard to find these days...). The ammount of detail is just amazing. I love it when the artist goes the extra mile to draw simply every single detial wich comes to his/her mind. I wonder how long it took him to draw the books. Highly influenced by crazy for detail machinery and artwork from Japan, in a good way. Highly underrated artist in my opinion. - Congrats on your "Serpentyne". ;-)
