DescriptionInto every collection, a little cheesecake must fall.So I rarely pick up unpublished illustrations, but every once in a while, one comes along that I can't pass up. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a Benes color piece before. This is stunning. Love DD in the shadows. So powerful.

Benes is the king of cheescake and this is a prime example!

There's something I really like about this --- I wish I could put my finger on it. Or even both hands ... But seriously, yeah, ya gotta have some cheesecake in your collection, but this is a really beautiful piece in lots of ways. Elektra's skin tones. Such gorgeous reds. Daredevil looks so cool in the shadows, and I really like the way Elektra's ribbons and Daredevil's billy club ropes wind around the borders. The eyes do tend to drift right back though, don't they... Great add!!!

Elektra like "yup, that's right." :) And Matt's trying to make it around to take a "look". Well, if Elektra moves...OK that's it, I'm done. I dig how darkened Matt is vs how lighted Elektra is - good stuff. And I always like that larger emblem on Matt vs a more silhouetted figure. Congrats!
