Huge thanks to Nick for hooking me up with this. I never imagined I’d own a vintage Maxx painting, especially within a year and a half of looking! I can't thank you enough bud.

Quote by Sam. "The piece was sold in the art auction at the San Deigo Comic-Con. During the convention, Wildstorm President John Nee came up, saw the painting, and said "Let's steal that for the Maxx card set!" He grabbed it, ran out and made film at an overnight photo shop, and returned it in time for the auction the next morning with no one the wiser."
