I finally gave in and purchase a full painting by Annie at IX 2019! Just such lovely details and the glossing she does really makes the piece shine. Now to find it a good place of honor... 11"x14" oil on board.

When everyone was invited by Hermes to attend the wedding of Zeus and Hera, the nymph Khelone alone remained at home. Since she loved being at home so much, she was turned into a turtle where she would have to carry her home with her forever. 🐢

You were smart and got in while she was cheaper, lol! Though her work does continue to get more impressive with time too. I keep watching some of her inktober pices too... would have bought one if I hadn't gotten this.
