Description

Great set of consecutive Carol Day dailies from the "Problem Child" story arc, which many believe contains the best art of the run. In all honesty, as of a couple of years ago I had barely heard of Carol Day. Then I saw a copy of Illustrator's Magazine #2, which had an article about David Wright and included images of some amazing art from the strip. After that, I started hunting around, and found two images from the "Problem Child" story arc on CAF that just completely blew me away -- from the CAF pages of Aaron N and Jeff Singh. If you are a collector of strip and illustration art, it is impossible not to be impressed by the artwork on Carol Day, and I just had to get me some of that sweet action. That's what I love about this hobby -- just when you think you have a grasp on the major players of the genre, something new (from the 1950s) pops up and just knocks you off your feet.

Beautiful pair of strips! Panel 1 of #368 is a particularly lovely shot of Carol.

Lovely examples and I agree, Wright's artwork in this story is astounding especially the fog scenes later. Congratulation on getting these two beautiful strips.
