Gwen Stacy (Ghost Spider), Harry Osborn (Green Goblin), Flash Thompson (Agent Anti-Venom), Prof. Miles Warren (The Jackal), Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Aunt May (Lady Spider) all appear in classic Ditko style. Gwen Stacy only appears in 7 pages in this issue while Harry Osborn in appears in just 5 pages.

Love that hand drawn sound effect in panel one.

I love how dense the Silver Age Marvels are--so much to read on the page! Readers definitely got their 12 cents worth. "Boy, how unsocial can you be?"--classic Stan, so charming! And didn't realize this was a first appearance issue. Congrats!

Nice innocent fun of Silver Age Marvel. You can tell Ditko was on his game and in his best era of Spider-Man by the clear theme of noble self sacrifice for his once again sick Aunt May.
