DescriptionHave you ever felt nostalgic about your hobby that is centered around nostalgia? When I first began this hobby over a decade ago, I was familiarizing myself with different artists and started developing my tastes. I kept seeing Art Adams pump out masterpiece after masterpiece and at the time, he had been working on The Fearless series. To me, this series showcased brilliantly what Arthur does best: beautiful ladies and monsters.I’d think back fondly throughout the years about these covers he did and thought that if I ever had the chance to get an Adams cover, it had to be a Valkyrie page from The Fearless. It's wonderfully designed in the first place as the upshot allows for the light source be from above and to the right. This allows for left side of the wall to be lit while the right side of the wall gets gradually darker giving Adams plenty more to crosshatch the heck out of this.

Love love love Valkyrie , hopefully she'll be back soon. Great Adams cover ! He is so good with all things Asgardian !

This could be my favorite cover of his from the entire series!
Arthur's use of perspective, light and shadow is perfection on this one.
Just immediately draws your eye to the impending conflict.
The man is a genius.

Fantastic cover! I am definitely nostalgic for earlier eras of the collecting hobby, though we are currently living through a great period for OA collectors.

Beautiful lady - check; monster - check; in a big way! Great cover that must be sublime in person - I'm sure you've pored over the details lots :) And LOVE the extreme upward perspective! Definitely adds to the drama, AND depth. Congrats!

I do indeed! I pull the collection out and page through it several times a week, but this one I probably linger on the most :)

Art Adam's cover work on this miniseries is definitely some of his very very best. I'm so very happy to also own one of them with the lovely and valiant Valkyrie featured in the image. Congrats on acquiring this gem!!

Thanks, I can definitely understand that sentiment! Sometimes it's hard to look at other peoples CAFs and not feel that way. Some fantastic collections in here, including yours!

Wow! My favorite cover from the Fear Itself: The Fearless! Arthur Adams really outdid himself here! Has Valkyrie ever looked more beautiful? I think not, thanks to Mr. Adams. Great pick-up!
