DescriptionCotton Woods was Ray Gotto's follow-up to Ozark Ike, a sports strip which borrowed from the popularity of L'il Abner. If anything, Cotton Woods was a better strip than Ike, both in storyline and artwork, but it suffered from very poor distribution, and ran for a relatively short period. Originals from the strip are downright scarce, and I'm glad to finally welcome a couple of examples into the collection, after 20 years of looking.
