Acclamato come uno dei fumetti più originali e influenti, Krazy Kat è apprezzato per i suoi metodi filosofici e il dialogo poetico. Un classico americano ammirato per la sua rilevanza artistica e letteraria per questo Krazy Kat ha ispirato molti disegnatori, artisti e scrittori. Personalmente la considero tra le strip più belle di tutti i tempi, un opera irripetibile, non a caso terminata con la morte dell’autore. Questa strip che ho inserito in galleria è del 1917, il primo periodo di Krazy Kat nel formato a 5 pannelli verticali, da osservare la sintesi grafica ed il classico lancio finale, in questo caso non del mattone, ma di un grosso sasso (o palla di neve?) alla povera gatta! Il primo dei tantissimi gatti che hanno popolato il magico mondo del fumetto e forse ancora oggi il più stupefacente :) Un pezzo storico, complimenti!
