Description

The first Mage Interlude (between Discovered and Defined) was included as a backup story in Grendel #s 16-19 in the late 80s. I love Matt's art style on those pages and have wondered what a cover would have looked like if the story was printed as an issue. Thanks to Matt (and thanks to Matt!), we now have an answer.

As a side note, if you have any pages from Mage Interlude (or know anyone who does), I'm interested!

Congrats! This is awesome. If I had the opportunity to request a high-end commission from Matt Wagner, I might request the same thing. I always loved his fully painted art in the the first MAGE "Interlude."
