Description

Poised exactly in the middle between Pop Art and the Ligne Claire, Walter Minus keeps travelling between comics and illustration, his only constant being his attraction for beautiful women.

A young Audrey Hepburn, Roman Holiday period, is obviously a perfect subject for him. With a few brushstrokes and slight color areas, he masterfully conjures the stunning beauty and natural elegance of this timeless star.

A haiku of sorts, this one goes directly on my wall!...

I always loved Minus’ neat and stylish art, which somehow reminds me of Baldazzini's. Beautiful piece!
