Description

A hand-drawn storyboard from the production of Tim Burton's comic book adventure BATMAN.

This storyboard depicts the final shot of the film -- Batman (Michael Keaton), having defeated master criminal The Joker (Jack Nicholson), looks out over Gotham City as the Bat-Signal is unveiled for the first time.

The storyboard is hand-rendered and numbered in mixed media on illustration paper. There is some tape residue and creasing from handling during the production.

Yes! I can recall the orchestra building to this as the Batsignal is introduced, Vicky gets in the car driven by Alfred, and the camera pans up the building to this shot.
