Description

11 years ago, years before I started collecting 2000ad related comic art and even realised you could do so, I used to bug Steve on Facebook trying to persuade him to part with an original Zenith piece. I've finally given up hahah. This sketch showed up on eBay recently with a bunch of sketches by other 2000ad artists from around 1988-1989, and although just a quick doodle, I feel really captures the style he adapted for Phase 2 + 3. I consider the early phases of Zenith to be some of the best in comics. Even though it's unpublished, I'm chuffed to have this.

Congrats on joining the Zenith sketch club. Maybe one day Steve will unleash a flood of the original artwork pages.

Now that you have a Zenith and If you've given up chasing Steve , does that mean the same for me ?
