Description

After being 100% happy with the first commission featuring the 1970s Legion of Doom besting the Justice League of America, I knew that round 2 featuring villains and heroes not included in the first painting had to happen! Legion of Doom line-up: Black Manta, Gorilla Grood, Cheetah, Darkseid, Brainiac, and Scarecrow. JLA line up: Aquaman, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, The Atom and Hawkman (well, at least part of his costume). My idea all along was that both battles were happening simultaneously in Slaughter Swamp with the Hall of Doom in the background. John Watson nailed it, again!

Feast for the eyes with those amazing colors by Watson! Rare that you see the JLA utterly and completely dominated that makes the Legion of Doom look like ultimate conquerors.
