Description

John Cassaday is one of the great artists who ever graced our industry. He was not only one of the greatest, but one of the nicest people you would ever meet.

This was a gift from John, and it means the world to me.

When John was pitching X-Men/Alpha Flight he created two pieces of art. This is the first piece that he used to pitch Marvel. Marvel did move forward with the X-Men/Alpha Flight 2 issue series.

This was early in John's career. But you can see the genius and passion on this page of art.

Thank you John. For being a great friend and a great part of the industry.

Looks oversized from the movie poster look of the layout! Puck and Sashquach with Wolverine and Colossus between them right in the center opens up storytelling possibilities already!
