I was a huge FF fan as a kid. So Dr. Doom is, for me, the quintessential comic book villain. He may not have been the first, but he was (and still is) the best. Stan and Jack took a Tin Man in a cape and made him a Shakespearean nemesis on a global scale

What can I say about Bob Hall? The man goes above and beyond. Here, I just asked for a pen&ink drawing of Doom holding the cosmic cube. Bob took that idea and created a scene of gothic drama, with beautiful ink washes and a bit of paint to boot. I even hesitate to use the word "drawing"...this is art.

Sweet piece by one of Marvel's most underrated

artists; the great Bob Hall. Doom looks awesome!
