DescriptionI figured bringing in the new decade by sharing the final issue of my favourite story of the last decade would be a perfect 2020 kickoff.I have had the issue for a while, and can not believe that my collection contains the perfect finale of a generational run. Allred & Slott brought to life a charming humanistic Norrin that has never been done before - and I cannot see being replicated ever. Dawn was such a brilliant creation, and is perhaps my favourite female character to date! A page from this issue sat in the MoPOP exhibit in Seattle - which adds to beautiful history of the issue. Such a simple, and great image all at the same time. Mike is nothing short of a genius and his Surfer run confirms this.

So much heart here. Slott and Allred crafted one of the most memorable SS opus of our time. Congrats RS!

Your excitement is clear in your description, Ryan! Sincere congrats on picking up this whole issue...really must be something to flip through. I'm not the biggest Allred fan but can really appreciate his aristry on this series!

I finally got around to reading this full story. I'm a cover and splash man myself, but holy cow does Allred know how to tell a story with sequential art. Congrats on such a huge piece from a true master of the artform.
