Description"I on my part give up the uncertainty of eternal rest and go out into the dark where may be the blackest things that the world or the nether world holds!"- Bram Stoker, Chapter 25, Dracula.......... David Hitchock out does himself yet again...I asked him if he had time to do another Batman commission for me and I gave him a few villains that I'd like to see his take on. He e-mailed me back that he fancied the Manbat/Batman and to leave it with him. WOW....His Manbat is the stuff of nightmares! Brilliantly he perched him on Arkham's archway gate. Gazing at the viewer as if we are prey that Langstrom's monster could swoop down upon in a second. To top that off the Asylum is the backdrop with Batman on the roof in pursuit with lightning crashing. Dave really knows how to do a great atmospheric scene and the only question I have is to DC, Marvel and Dark Horse....why isn't he doing something for you? Off my soapbox....I highly recommend Dave's published material and for commission work. The creepiest Manbat that I've ever seen. I love the up-in-your-face quality of this commission, Brian. David excels at creating haunting Gothic environments, so it's not surprising that his Arkham is a chilling entity in and of itself. I LOVE this piece!

Hey Brian, Top left, about 2 inches over, theres no Ink in the lightning! I would call David on that and tell him to add some detail to this piece.........;P.....Holy C%#P! This piece is all detail!!! I sat and stared at this for awhile just taking in all the Inking that he did! Amazing art! Congrats again Brian on another great piece.

I totally agree with you Brian, why the hell isn't he working with ANY of the so-called professional publishing companies?!?! His attention to detail the fun part of receiving a commission. Looking closely and seeing what you might be missing. Congrats!!! Beautiful piece.

Talk about creepy and intense. This is how Manbat should appear in comics. It's scary how awesome this piece is, Brian!
