Description

Back in March my wife gave me a good scare, she had as the Doctors described it "A rather large blood clot that is putting pressure on her heart" They preformed an emergency procedure that night saving her life. She spent a week and a half in the hospital. During that time I mentioned on Facebook what had happened and my frequent trips to the hospital to see her. My good friend Royce mentioned it to Budd Root and he decided to send some get well wishes to my wife. It put a huge smile on her face and she promptly told me that that it was her Budd piece so hands off! Budd I cant thank you enough for bringing some light into what was a bit of a dark time...you are and always will be aces in my book.....oh and since when I emailed you blamed Royce for putting you up to it...the same goes for you Mr Thrower! Thanks guys...and Mary thanks you too :)

Just another example of why Budd's one of the nicest guys in comics today. Now you need to hook Mary up with her own CAF account to post her art collection! ;)

Wow, Brian, I had no idea that you had had such a scare. I'm relieved to hear that Mary is doing well and is able to fend off your attempts at adding this wonderful tribute to your collection. Kudos all around and best wishes to you and your family, sir.

I have to say it, but Budd could easily do a children's comic, although he would be missed on Cavewoman. I love this little piece! So glad that Mary shook off the condition successfully.
