DescriptionI picked up a few pages from the Casey Jones arc a while back.. obviously a landmark issue towards the end of the original Excalibur run.. probably the longest running title I collected from start to finish as it came out. So it has a special place in my heart. I’m a fan of Jones style and story telling.. he does a lot with a little moving the story along.. even though we are past word balloons on the page. Grabbed this one because it features a Big stand alone image of Cable and the rest of the X-men at the time.Social/Sharing |

You got art from the good Jones! I like the grid behind Cable that defines his height. It is like bio stats on action figure packaging from Toy Biz.

That initial full figure panel shot of Cable is really cool! Definately gives me the action figure vibes. nice page from a landmark 100th issue of the title!

I'm very impressed that you stuck with the book from start to finish. I think I'm tied with you then when it comes to longest series to stick with from beginning to end. In my case is was JLA - 125 issues plus the One Million issue, while Excalibur was 125 issues plus the Minus-One issue. I tended to weave in-and-out of Excalibur over the years, but I did like the issues from this period as it had a good mix of artists, including Casey Jones. A nice mix of characters on this page!
