DescriptionThis week the first 4 episodes of the original Transformers cartoon will air in select cinemas, marking 40 years since their television debut. Now, obviously I wasn't alive 40 years ago because I am a very young person, so I'm excited for the opportunity to capture the magic on the big screen.Here is a variant cover from the current Energon Universe run of Transformers, created by architect turned sequential artist André Lima Araújo. I was very pleased to pick this up, particularly as all the interior art (DWJ's last issue on art duties) has sold complete to one lucky duck. Plus, DEVASTATOR!!! Social/Sharing |

Congrats on this fun cover, glad to hear the original series is coming back for some attention, it was a lot of fun.

I think the image works so much better without the published colors. It seems that you're a lucky duck as well. Congratulations!

Great use of scale and negative & white space! Almost feels like its jumping from the page and casting a shadow.

Believe it or not there's life after Arch school

All they need Autobot Transformation
You go back to school, afternoon television (oh yeah, oh yeah)
What you want is a cartoon
