Description

Original art for the Wizard Magazine 92 feature "Last Man Standing" by Jim Balent, circa 1999. Approximate image size 10" x 10" on a larger 11" x 17" art board...graphite and ink on art board. Black Widow battles Catwoman in this ongoing Wizard Magazine feature that would pit heroes and villains from various publishing companies against one another. Balent creates a feline femme fight as only he can render! Meow...Cat Fight!!!

Geez...if we only had a Black Widow series by Jim Balent. Or a "Black Widow/Catwoman" crossover mini that were popular in the 90s. Such a missed opportunity. Really nice piece.
