DescriptionThis is an original cel with original handpainted backgrounds on paper, from space battleship yamato by leiji matsumoto. 1974-75Space Battleship Yamato (Japanese: 宇宙戦艦ヤマト Hepburn: Uchū Senkan Yamato, also called Cosmoship Yamato) is a Japanese science fiction anime series featuring an eponymous spacecraft.[1] It is also known to English-speaking audiences as Space Cruiser Yamato; an English-dubbed and heavily edited version of the series was broadcast on North American and Australian television as Star Blazers. wikipedia Leiji Matsumoto (松本零士 Matsumoto Reiji, born Akira Matsumoto (松本晟), January 25, 1938 in Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan) is a well-known creator of several anime and manga series. His wife Miyako Maki is also known as a manga artist. Matsumoto is famous for his space operas such as Space Battleship Yamato.
