DescriptionAfter a long search and a lot of rejections from other collectors ( I understand them ) , I was finally able to get a representative page of Tim Sale's art . I honestly think it's a great page .The stunning use of blacks, the alternation of light and dark give a masterful perspective depth . The storytelling also leaves me speechless and deserves a separate discussion . The house that seems to come out of fairy tales, the female protagonist who materially and metaphorically ( ! ) descends the stairs that will lead her in front of ...Batman ? the Boogeyman ? your own feelings of guilt ? Everything is part and comes from the darkness .I apologize if I have dwelt ,but I would never stop watching this piece . The only thing I want to add is Tim Sale is an artist who left too soon and who will be missed by all of us . Social/Sharing |

Wow! Jaw-droppingly cool Tim Sale page! I love the heavy use of blacks in this page. The silhouetted image going down the stairs is awesome and the final reveal of Batman sends chills down my spine! Genuinely spooky reveal! Congrats!

You are 100% correct. This is a phenomenal representation of Tim's Batman and I'm glad it's found its way to someone who so clearly appreciates everything he brought to the page.

Always being dramatic, Batman could have just knocked on the door. But the visual wouldn't have been this incredible.

Batman has never looked so menacing. Such a great example. Congratulations

Sale's ability to blend horror movie imagery with neo-noir cool and superheroics is one of many reasons why his Batman remains so memorable.
