DescriptionI love Ian’s work! I’ve been admiring his artist’s choice commission’s for quite some time, so I took the opportunity to get my own when his list opened back in January. When I saw Felix post this piece online I didn’t know it was mine. The moment I saw it I thought “damn I really hope it’s that one!” Low and behold it came to my house, the one I fell in love with. I think it represents Ian’s finest work! He really loved it too, and that just makes it evan better.I just got her back from Linda, my local framer here in Charlotte. Stopped by Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find after I picked it up to grab a couple three day passes to HeroesCon. Sam at the shop asked if he could check it out. The moment he saw it his reaction was “holy shit you got THAT one!” Best reaction ever! I told him that was my reaction too when it came to the house... as it had still been a secret. I was only expecting my new Murder Falcon page that day, and got double joy! Was like Christmas. Thank you Ian for throwing yourself into this piece! I’ve put it up in the home office / media room. It’s hanging right above my desk, next to my Williamson piece where I’ll look at it the most. I also want to thank Felix Comic Art for just doing it right! Thank you both for making my first ever commission a huge friggin success! Social/Sharing |

Congrats on a great piece by Ian! He really did some cool new techniques in this last batch of artist choices. Very cool that he has been upsizing some of these commissions at no charge as well.

Thanks Tim! I agree he’s been doing a lot of really cool stuff lately. This one’s huge it’s 30” by 24.” Gives it a real cool wall presence.

Absolutely stunning! This could easily be the centerpiece of any collection be it comic art or otherwise.

I've seen this on Ian's Gallery on Felix Comic Art and was in awe. Congrats on having it your collection! It's a beauty!

Congratulations on this piece! This would look at home next to a Gustav Klimt. I won't be surprised when I find Bertram pieces in museums some day.
