DescriptionThis piece is very special. As soon as I saw it I immediately reached out to try and buy it, unfortunately I wasn't the only one. I knew it was going to be a battle to get it, but I had to try. Everyone interested in it had to give a number they were willing to pay for it. Luckily I was the highest bidder and found out on Father's day. What a spectacular gift! Once I got it I immediately reached out to Scott Williams, a true master inker. He was hesitant at first but being persistent paid off and he agreed to ink a gray line copy. The end result is unreal. So excited to get this in hand and stare at it for hours. Thank you John Byrne for creating such an amazing composition, Jim Warden for letting me get it, and Scott Williams for doing such an amazing job inking this complex behemoth.Social/Sharing |

Congrats George on this spectacular piece (and nice Fathers Day surprise). Scott really delivered with amazing details and precision that Byrne's dynamic composition deserved.

Superb! Who knew Scott Williams inks would look quite that nice over Byrne? I'm not sure what it is, but it almost has a George Perez quality. X-men + FF + Avengers/ Sentinels = Super Awesome. 100% fact. Huge congrats!
