Description

Dan and I took a break on the John Carpenter film series to do a Pennywise from Stephen King's It for October, but for November we jumped right back in. This John Carpenter film features WWF superstar "Rowdy" Roddy Piper as a drifter who comes across some special sunglasses that allow him to see the truth, that Earth was controlled and quietly conquered by aliens! Everywhere he looks are subliminal messages that tell us to Procreate, Obey, Buy Things, Watch TV, and such. So he gets a friend to join him on the mission to fight back and they join the underground of people who know the truth. A fun '80s flick that I have always loved. :)
