Description

This is a tiny little painting, 4" x 4". He used to do a lot of these, but not sure he does them anymore. Funny Kochalka story (totally unrelated to this piece); a couple of years ago at San Diego, turns out we're both staying at the Embassy Suites. I was talking to Chris Staros (Top Shelf Comix) and James at a party, and James mentioned that it was a bit crowded in his room. I drunkenly offered him my room, since those Embassy Suites rooms are HUGE. Later that night I get back to my room and there's a message on the room phone. I dial in and the message was "Hi, this is James Kochalka, and I'm being chased by a duck, and I was wondering if I could still stay in your room?" He came down, and we ended up watching old Saturday Night Live re-runs until we passed out.
