DescriptionI've long been searching for a Cap comic page by Andy Kubert to complement the Cap trading card art I have, so this is a real treat! I also have to commend Jesse Delperdang's sublime inks on this! Many thanks to CL for making a deal with me!Social/Sharing |

Huge congrats! I LOVED Andy Kubert's Cap run, and is the run I of first when I think "Andy" as well as "Cap". So dynamic, and you got a great example. Andy's right up there with Zeck as far as Cap artists for me. And being a big Black Panther fan...gotta like seeing Klaw :) This particular issue was really fun. Congrats, again!

Many thanks, K! Andy's Cap is indeed very special to me and very pleased to finally get a cool example from his run that demonstrates his talent for dynamic action and storytelling. And his take on Klaw is a cool bonus!

Sweet battle page and the holo-shield era is a fun one. The widescreen action and long striding attack is a great feature from Andy Kubert's toolbox of storytelling.

Thanks, Marcus! Andy made the most out of the holo-shield-- and fun fact-- this was it's last appearance for a while as the classic round alloy shield later made it's triumphant return later in this issue. In Dan Jurgens' run, it's revealed that Cap is still using it as a back-up, successfully deploying it against the Taskmaster at the last minute!
