A superb rendering of Herne The Hunter, from the TV series Robin of Sherwood.

Look In ran a popular Robin of Sherwood strip for several years. Among the talent working on the strip was the great Arthur Ranson.

This is a 2022 sketch Arthur completed for me.

Cheers Dan. Robin of Sherwood is arguably the greatest interpretation of the Robin Hood mythology, and nicely works in some interesting ethereal and supernatural elements. This character is Robin's protected and adopted Father, the Lord of the forest.
