Did I mention that not all "Firsts" have to be firsts of any real
importance? If I haven't, now's the time.

In 2005, I came across an indie comic with some great
cover art. The artist told me the artwork had�
been done digitally. There were no originals to be had.
I hate it when that happens.
�
Fortunately, Benjamin Hall did have some other artwork for sale.�
This is his cover to �Dead@17: Protectorate #1�, a prequel
to Josh Howard�s very enjoyable �Dead@17." This is the first
appearance of Grace True, the story's heroine.�
�
The three-issue miniseries from Viper Comics received good
reviews. Although Howard supported the project initially, he�
later insisted the story wasn�t part of the �Dead@17� canon.
Such a shame. Ben Hall deserved better.

It's a first for us thirsty for firsts! The amount of work that went into the nightie and the zombies is applause worthy!
