DescriptionA fun Blackpool-centric Doctor Who commission from Adrian Salmon.Given that both Ade and I have links to Blackpool (he still resides there), we thought it might be an idea to work in a few references. So in this instance you have to imagine the Cybermen have repurposed Blackpool’s famous tower as a giant transmitter. Tom Baker’s Doc is pursued along the beach by one of the giant metal monsters, as one of the service robot mummies from the classic ‘The Pyramids of Mars’ looms large. Ade put a lot of work into this commission, and it really shows. I’m delighted with it. A3 size pencils and inks on Bristol board. Definitely NOT for sale. Social/Sharing |
