Just to add to the known history of this piece, I purchased it off Ebay about 20 years ago from the son of the original owner. He told me that his father worked in production for Chesler, and had gotten it directly from Chesler himself as a gift when operations ceased and he was laid off. Jon Berk and I had been friends for some time and when he heard that I had aquired the cover, he suggested a deal and that's how it came to be in his collection.
