DescriptionWith the holidays upon us once more, I’d wager many of us will be packing (or joining) our families in a vehicle of some kind and heading out in search of adventure this Fall and Winter… So what could possibly be more timely than spotlighting that most enduring of holiday traditions: “the family trip”?Less “over the river / through the woods” and more “third star from the left and straight on ‘til morning”, here‘s a fun snapshot of a road trip, Guardians style, through Pasqual’s slick and charming lens. I love the group dynamic that’s captured here; a bit fractured on the surface (as everyone pursues their individual thoughts & interests), but also cohesive at its core, due to the proximity and familiarity (or at least weary acceptance) of being roped along for the ride with all involved. You know - just like family. :) And speaking of family, I want to wish everyone on CAF a very happy holidays, filled to the brim (and overflowing) with everything you deem necessary for a splendid and festive season. I’m so grateful to have met and formed friendships with awesome fellow collectors, and can’t wait to connect with many more…. THANK YOU for CAF, Bill! For the best oart is the different tonal value of pencil applied to Groot. Fun cover.

Congrats, man! Ferry's clean line work is SO good. Absolutely does more with less. Great figure work here, love the different expressions and poses on each character, AND you got that sense of movement. Suh-weet image all around!

Ferry's current style provides such a clean, almost "animation style" look. I do love the "everybody get in the car, we're going on vacation!" family trip motif. Everyone is indeed doing their own thing, but the only thing I'm wondering is, "Who the hell is driving that thing?!?". Happy Turkey Day!

Ferry manages to capture the humanity of a group of mostly non-human characters with this wonderful cover.

Love this cover! It struck me as it did you as a Rockwellian scene of the fam heading off for the annual trip to a relative's house for a holiday dinner. The expressions and postures are right on and every line is perfectly executed. Hope you and your family enjoy the winter holidays!

I've seen a few pieces that fall into a just right category. Just enough purple, just enough line weights, captured a mood and made me feel something... Something just right where it doesn't need anything else. Where they hit the nail perfectly, I like this piece a lot. He nailed it. :)
